Just wondering about excercising when your sensitized state we know excercise is good for anxiety but because excercise is a form of stress does it make it worse if your in a sensitized state meaning anxiety 24/7.

moggie8 exercise does not make it worse. If anything it releases the built up
adrenaline and brings up your Endorphin levels. When we exercise, we can't
help but breathe more deeply providing oxygen throughout our body.
When finished exercising, cool down by stretching your torso and breathing
out all the toxins. This act also allows your heart rate and blood pressure to
return to normal. Always hydrate when finished and enjoy the peace and calm
within your mind and body. xx
But what if u are in a sensitized state
Hi moggie8 there are 2 words that can keep us in a fear cycle and they
are "what if". What if has made many people including myself stuck
in this pattern and afraid to take that first step forward.
Since I am not a doctor or a therapist I can only suggest for your safety
and the safety of others on this site that they go through their doctor's
recommendation when it comes to exercising. Their doctors are the only
ones who know their medical history and can address it appropriately.
This site as well as any videos suggested from YouTube are a recommendation
in what worked for the individual and not a broad answer. xx
When I feel very anxious, I go outside and walk. Sometimes it doesn't help much, but it never hurts, plus it helps me feel empowered that I did this. Feeling a sense of power and control helps me believe I will get better.
