Anxiety attack
Dearest Sfqueen, of course your blood pressure would be elevated from experiencinga severe anxiety attack. The fear and rush of adrenaline brought your b/p up for a while.
It doesn't necessarily mean that you have a blood pressure issue.
However, if you are constantly in a stressful situation, the b/p numbers can stay elevated
causing your ears and head to feel full.
Medication is always an option if your doctor feels it necessary.
However, you can get your pressure to go down by working on relaxing your mind
and body throughout the day.
It takes practice and time for your mind to accept this concept of peace and calm but
well worth the outcome.
Give your doctor a call explaining your concerns. It is very important to keep the numbers
of your b/p consistent with normal readings. I wish you well. I hope you get some rest
tonight. You need it after the day you've had. Sending gentle hugs to you xx
Assuming anxiety, control breathing, inhale deep, exhale slow. Get out of tunnel vision, become aware of peripheral environment. Ground yourself, touch your body, feel it's physical presence and safety. Go for a walk or move to shake off and relax tension in the body. Stop sensory overload, do one slow activity or nothing for a while. Do these actions when not in anxiety and panic to prepare yourself.
Me too.. I’m just contemplating whether I should take my Lorazepam now or in two hours. U know what.. so so so much has happened to all of us and still happening. I want to go home to Australia but upon my return to Thailand may be a problem.. it’s just all too much for me to handle. My BP elevated 3 days after 1st jab and got worse after second. Now I’m on medication for that.. Dad died in Australia a month ago, couldn’t get back to be with him. Hells bells I’m amazed we haven’t gone loopey. I certainly feel it.. everything is jumping around with in me.. in fact, I’m going to take my lorazepam right now before you hear me scream.. good luck to you SFqueen.. remember many of us are in the same boat … if u are on medication just take half to quiet u down and the other half I presume u take at night . That’s what I do and feel always a little better. I do it while watching a film on my iPad.. just makes me forget those demons .
