Help with anxiety and lexapro

Does anybody know how long it takes for Lexapro to start working I don’t mean as far as your appetite back or sleep better I mean for anxiety I have very very bad anxiety and I don’t feel any different and I’m on it almost 4 weeks now

SOPHIA24, it can take from 4-6 weeks to be fully effective. A few days longerif the dosage has been changed during that time.

SOPHIA24. I started at 10 mg in November 2020. Had a few side effects and increased anxiety for a couple of weeks. But week 6, i noticed a little calmness and week 8 i was feeling great and to this date, i still am. but i did more than pop a pill. I increased excercise, kept my mind active listening to music,reading. but the main thing was the excercising!! ride out the side effects and i hope notice a difference. really been a life change for me!! good luck!
