Cat Naps and Anxiety

Hello

It’s been 3 to 4 days of cat naps because of anxiety 😕 i’ve tried My medication that’s supposed to help with anxiety for bed to help with my anxiety and it’s not work any suggestions?

What time of day do you take your anxiety medicine. With some the advice is to take them in the morning, as otherwise they may cause sleep issues. Ask your pharmacist or doctor when you should take them.

Another thing that works wonders. Get some organic Lavender Oil (or regular if you can't find it). Put a few drops on each side of your pillow (so which ever side you sleep on ... you inhale some). It will promote relaxation and sleep.

Hi, I'm 70, so catnaps are allowed now. Big problems with anxiety, as the day rolls along. If I can take a 10-20 min catnap, it seems to reset my whole system and the anxiety goes flat. I've been doing this since I was about 40. In those days, I ran a large construction crew, working on lighthouses. Sometimes one of my workmen would tell me to go take a "quick sleep". They could see my anxiety before I could! It always worked and reset my brain for many more hours of hard, focused work! If I ever ran a business with people in offices, I would provide places for quiet, employee, catnaps. It's an investment in productivity.
