Anyone changed from fluoxetine to citalopram? I understand that the latter had anxiolytic properties.

I went from citalopram to fluoxetine (am now in neither due to different side effects) but I did feel more relaxed on citalopram and noticed the fluoxetine didn’t effect me in the same way. But my understanding from my GP is that the drugs can’t affect people in different ways and it’s all about finding the one that works for you. Good luck
