Hi Gillybabe48, it's never made me drowsy but more clear headed.

Check with your doctor on side effects as well as dosage and time of

day you take it.

I take mine with lunch each day. :) xx

I started this 5 days ago and I'm very sleepy and I hope that it goes away. I take it at night

Hell yes escitopram can make you drowsy. In the UK the prescription label says may cause extreme drowsiness, do not operate machinery or drive if it does. Take it before bed, doesn't need to be taken in morning or day, it builds up on your system, and therefore has little to none benefit taking it in the day.
