Hi.. I’m 19 and for a month I felt like I’m living a dream I feel almost high all the time I had spells of vertigo to begin with I went to the doctors they said it was Labyrinthitis and the dizziness has kinda stopped but now I just feel foggy and almost brain dead at times I’m always panicking doctors said it’s just anxiety and I have been on beta blockers but I can’t stop thinking I’ve got something in my brain like a brain tumour even though 4 doctors have said I don’t! This is driving me mental and completely taking over my life :( does anyone have any advice??

Fight. Fight like hell. If you believe in god, pray to the lord for guidance. Ask for a sign from him that this won't last forever. Meditate. Exercise. Do things that make you happy. Try new experiences. Talk to loved ones.

Have you had your thyroid and b12 tested, i know this is anxiety page but brain fog can be caused by low thyroid and b12 along with dizziness, anxiety etc

Hey! So I’m 33 but one day when I was 26 I started getting dizzy. It was after I took 14 days of antibiotics from having H pylori. I went to numerous doctors. ENT just looked in my ears and says I’m fine. I went 2 times. I did some therapy and didn’t work for me. I had an MRI and no brain tumor. Yes I feel drunk 24/7 almost still to this day. I did go to a holistic doctor and went on a plant based diet and was getting all these therapies and cleanses and honesty it did help but then I started eating whatever I wanted and I feel dizzy a lot and brain fog like you’re saying. I do get terrible panic attacks for years and they say it’s anxiety but anxiety doesn’t do this because I’ve been getting anxiety attacks since I was 14. I would stop taking them pills. They want to feed you pills that make you feel more crazy. They’re not helping and won’t help. I hope it gets better for you! I did read some people can feel like that from certain foods/carbs but I love food so that’s hard for me.

Possible Derealization. It is a symptom of anxiety and usually kicks in after constant bouts of anxiety and panic attacks. Mind you this doesn't happen for everyone with anxiety. If you are questioning if things feel real or not, if people even family appear visually and mentally strange to you then it is most likely derealization. A symptom of anxiety that can go away. Accept how your anxiety makes you feel, remember anxiety is actually your body trying to help you due to something you fear may harm you. It is our fight or flight response kicking in at the wrong time because we perceive something internally or externally wrong even though there is not. Once you accept the anxiety as a coping mechanism and not add 2nd fear by believing something must be wrong then you are telling your brain "hey at this moment I am not in a dangerous situation" then anxiety will start to kick in less and less.
