Lexapro & beta-blockers it's ok?

My first post here, my doc. put me on 5mg Escitalopram due to my anxiety and hypothyroidism (I'm also on thyroid medication). The antidepressant medication reduced my pulse (at 70-80) but the tension was a bit high(150/90) so the endo suggested that he would like to add, 1/2 nebivolol (beta blockers) in the morning and take Lexapro in the evening. It' s ok like this, the two drugs will not interact ???

I'm afraid to take a beta-blocker.

Ask your pharmacist for their opinion. I think people often forget a pharmacist is a great resource.

If that's a constant BP then it can't stay that way.

I would see what pharmacy says then call my md again.
