Cross Taper Celexa (citalopram) to Zoloft (sertraline) side effects

I have been on Celexa 40mg for about 10 years. After some trauma resurfaced I had a mental breakdown about 7 months ago. I have GAD with occasional panic attacks but it was under control for several years until recently.

My psychiatrist and I feel that the Celexa is no longer working or at least not as well as it used to. So I am cross tapering to Zoloft.

11 days ago I reduced the Celexa to 35mg and started 25mg Zoloft. No side effects noticed until 4 days ago when I reduced to 30mg Celexa and upped to 50mg Zoloft. Since then I’ve been increasingly more irritable, had some little headaches and even today became panicky. Also feel exhausted physically and mentally.

I really need this switch to go well. I’ve also been seeing a therapist for a few months but it’s not enough help right now.

Anyone else have these kind of side effects with Zoloft? How long did they last?

I really want to push through this and hope it’s only temporary.

I never taken anymore a anti depressants it's horrible.zoloft I whent like a grazy person I mean restless and a lot others celexa the same omg never again only now a benzo that's it the rest whe have the do it on ourselves
