I think I'm dying...

The brain MRI didn't help my anxiety. My symptoms still continue to run my life. My pins and needles are in both sides of my hands and feet. I have constant action potential tremors in both sides of my body and face. My balance is still off. Everytime I try to keep balance, the pressure aches in my jaw and temples begin to flare up. I'm getting visual disturbances and eye floaters. Recently I had a horrifying visual symptom. I began to see visual trails, but it was only under a certain light. I'm at a complete loss. I fear I'm dying from a leukodeytophy or a genetic disorder thats killing my brain cells. This anxiety and fear of death has become so debilitating, that I can't even focus on my school and work. Anxiety makes all these symptoms worse. I dont know where else to go...

this must be very scary for you tonight.

Call you doctor again and tell him/h how you are feeling and ask then to help you.

Its going to be okay

If you've had brain scans that came back negative, why do you think you're still worrying about brain problems? (Hint: it's just anxiety - and anxiety lies.)

Idk. I guess it's because I'm worried they missed something. Anxiety is hard to deal with sometimes.

What's more likely: that they missed something, or your anxiety is causing you to focus on possibilities that don't make sense?

I'm sorry you're going through this. I have very similar symptoms to yours, and they are very scary at times. Anxiety is VERY clever and seems to be able to mimic my greatest health fears. Are you having counselling? CBT has made a difference for me. Also I'm on Setraline which stops the extreme negative thoughts and allows me to get the most out of counselling. Are either of these things options for you? You are not alone in having intense physical symptoms from anxiety. I understand how bad they can be.

Thank you for your support. I'm looking into getting psychological help. I'm on a bit of a budget thought since school has just started for me. I want to make more time for my mental health.

I know it can be expensive! I can only afford to see my therapist every 3 or 4 weeks instead of every week as was recommended to me. If you can't see someone right now have you checked out free CBT workbooks online? I also watch YouTube videos of people talking about the physical symptoms they get from anxiety as it's reassuring to me that other people get intense symptoms like me. I hope these feelings ease for you soon.

All this going on but you're still able to attend school and work?

Yes. The pins and needles are fairly mild. The only thing that becomes hard is balancing and sometimes writing due to the tremors.
