Why when I walk the stairs and at the end of the stairs when I am on flat surface I feel like there is another step?

And I feel like I'm about to walk into something when I know there is nothing there.

I do that a lot. And you know that like motion you make because your body thinks there is one too. Yeah I tell anyone who sees me make that motion and jump back like there is something in front of me, "oh that's my cat like reflexes". It's something to do with your body getting that feeling and then you look up and depth perception or not focusing fast enough your brain just reacts and sends that frantic message and our body isn't quick enough to respond. Lol

I get something similar. Is it from meds do you think?
