Heart anxiety
A lot of people seem to do it, constantly checking it and worrying.
8 months ago and also a year ago you posted about skipped beats, has anything bad happened to you since then involving your heart?
Yes I do. It is awful feeling and because it is your heart it is not easy to ignore.
I do tell myself that my heart is fine and that my blood pressure is fine. Sometimes my nervous thoughts go away and I am ok, sometimes however my logic looses and I get supper tense, worried and need to meditate or occupy myself with something just to shift that dread feeling away. I do take propranolol though if needed. It helps me. If anxiety takes over, propranolol brings me back to myself.
I do. It's the story of my life.
Yup! I was always anxious but I wouldn't say I had full blown anxiety until I was diagnosed with an arrhythmia. So now I am hyper aware of my heart. I had a procedure to correct the heart problem but because I was paying so much attention to my heart from the time I was diagnosed to the procedure, I think I always will. Most people have skipped beats at some point in their lives but don't really realize it has happened or don't feel it happen. When you are hyperaware, you will definitely pick up on every single skipped beat or ectopic beat and even though your heart is okay, it's still scary
Im the exact same. I have missed beats a lot and am alert of my heart. Constantly checking it. But doctors say it healthy just fast and am on medication for it.
