Nyquil

What is everyone's experience with nyquil or with medications that make you sleepy? I took nyquil an hour ago on an empty stomach and now the drowsy feeling has me freaking out. Probably won't ever take nyquil again. Everything feels so heavy. No type of pain tho so I'm hanging on to that so I don't have an anxiety attack.

I've gotten that off of regular cough syrup before, empty stomach no good and meds tend to intensify things sometimes. How much did you drink of it?
