I'm 37 years old and been suffering from anxiety for about 15 years. my symptoms are feeling lightheaded, very out of it, pain and needles feeling in head and chest, tingling in arms, fingers, legs and face, pressure in head, palpitations, fear about everything, when I go to the store I feel so scared that I might faint, I'm so scared of being alone at the store, I work and have 4 kiddos and I want to be healthy for them. Ive been to the doctor and blood work is good and blood pressure as well. has anyone found anything that helps besides meds?

I have very similar symptoms to you. Recently, I started Keto just to do a small 28 day plan and see if I lost any weight. This definitely helped. I’m not sure if you’re a big sugar person like me, but the detox off sugars and carbs has really calmed down my anxiety, tingly, and dizziness.

Ask your doctor to do some more blood tests to check your Thyroid, Adrenals and some nutrients levels - suggest the following :

Thyroid Antibodies (TPO and TgAb), Thyroid Function Tests (FreeT3, FreeT4, TT4 & TSH)

Also : Vitamin D, Calcium, B12, Folate and Ferritin.

Also ask about Intrinsic Factor test, especially if B12 and/or Folate low.

Hi. I'm 37 and a mom of two. I can relate to all your symptoms and fears. I tried meds only once and quite and have been on this anxiety ride for 4 years. I am trying to continue without having to takes meds so I often find myself wondering if I really need to give meds another chance because I have my setbacks and bad spells with this. But I'd really rather not use medicine. I'd say I consistently prayed. Prayer and finding good reads to help put new words and thoughts in your mind. Kind of like filtering your mind. It's a process like anything else but gradually you will begin to notice a difference in the way you think which is the culprit of anxiety, which leads to our sufferings through this. 😊 wish us the best
