Coming of medication

Hello any one on dosulepin it's a old tablet for depression ,ivecbeen on it for years ,now they say not good for my heart ia trying slowly to get off it by reducing it to every other day , I want to be free of this drug but it's hard going , will go to my gp ask for help , xx

hi I don't have any experience with this medication.howerver if you repost this with the name of the medication in your title it might attract more responses.

This is very old tablet they don't give out any more ,thanks for reply ,it's called dosulepin ,

Hi are you still on dosulepin, I started this for depression in 75mg, doctor increased them to 150mg and it actually gave me anxiety.. after 6 weeks I had enough, so now withdrawing of them to 75mg and hopefully side effects go away or settle.. any advice be great thanks

Hi kellsg I tried so hard to come off them but I had to go back to 75 mg I think it was just me as they are my crutch ,I wasn't sleeping and was very tearful , I have retired from work and maybe I must think about getting off them again I've been on these for 15 years think iam going to need help ,good luck iam sure you been fine as not been on them that long ,keep me updated as to how it goes for you x
