Hi all, I’ve been dealing with anxiety since September now. I’m 18 years old and I just want this all to end so I can live happier. Each day varies I can have chest and arm pain, muscle twitches, headaches, back pain, I’m really tired of this pain. I just want to attack this problem before it actually affects my health. I tried a therapist but I didn’t find it effective. Does anybody have any natural ways to deal with anxiety and make the pain go away, I don’t wanna take any medications but it’s been lasting so long I’m considering it. I’m thinking about seeing a physiatrist eventually. Any advice would help. thank you!

/4 tsssshello! I am sorry that you are going through this situation and dealing with anxiety. My first question that popped in my mind is have you had a physical to make sure that it really is "just" actual anxiety that you are dealing with.... you just want to be certain to rule out anything else that could cause these feelings of pain that you speak of. My husband and I have found Holy Basil or Ashwaganda to be helpful to help support your adrenals. You could also try magnesium, epsom salt baths, regular low impact exercise, breathing exercises, proper rest, vitamins... I have also drank the "adrenal cocktail" which consists of 1/4 cup orange juice, 1/4 ts of cream of tartar, 1/4 Himalayan sea salt... drink early and on an empty stomach... this helps to support your adrenals. Hoping that you find some relief. It takes time for your body to adjust but these are some good places to start! <3
Yes I’ve been checked out by my doctor and have been to a cardiologist last September so to my knowledge I’m healthy. I take omega 3’s and B12 I’ve heard that can help deal with anxiety. It helps sometimes but not all the time. I just try to distract myself most of the time. But thanks for the advice I’ll try the holy basil, cock tail and ashwaganda
I get muscle twitches too, mainly in my legs and I’ve had it 24/7 for the last couple of months. It really stresses me out.
