Yes, my anxiety has ruined one of relationships with someone whom I loved very much..

If your mental illness causes you to act out in an uncontrollably abusive way towards your spouse or loved ones, then, almost certainly, yes -- unless you find a treatment that works to end said behavior.

Honestly? There have been periods of time that I knew my husband was exhausted from dealing with Me and my anxiety. I was terrified he would abandon me..Thank goodness he never did..Anxiety is not just painful for the anxious person, it's painful for their families as well.

It’s a constant battle that’s for sure. But always remember to be kind to yourself. You’re stronger than you think!

From my point of view you should be supporting each other even in the hardest times ! If your are in long term relationship your partner already should know how to help you with your anxiety and depression issues giving up it’s just weakness and don’t wanting to commit or don’t care . I know from my experience because I’m in long term relationship and we got engaged I suffer from anxiety and depression since I was child, my partner support me a lot he comes with me to my therapy’s to understand more we do almost everything together !!

Yes I think anything can impact relationships however it doesn't have to end them. All relationships take effort and input. Don't give up on those you love. However you do need healthy boundaries. Keep fighting the good fight!
