I’ve been going through the same thing! Once I get over one symptom another one pops up. I’ve been back and forth with facial numbness and twitches all around my body along with joint pain as well. I think my body tenses when I sleep cause I’m in a lot of pain when I wake up. It’s so hard to ignore them, it’s like the more you try to take your mind off it the more you focus on it and the sensations get worse :/ I want to believe it’s just anxiety but there’s always that thought in the back of my mind that lingers that’s saying “it’s not anxiety it’s something serious” It’s a daily struggle.
Since heart problems don't pop up overnight, I strongly suggest that anyone with cardiophobia get the standard tests done. If the results are good, you can pretty well be 100% sure you won't have a cardiac episode for at least several years, barring electrocution or something like that. If the results are less than ideal, the heart is something that is incredibly well understood and doctors will begin the process of repairing it.
And that’s part of the daily battle unfortunately!! I’m a well educated man but, rational thinking seems to go straight out of the window as soon as the anxiety kicks in... 👍🏼
