Title sums it up, been dealing with what the doc calls anxiety since the summer when I had a pretty bad panic attack and ended up at the er thinking it was a heart attack. Since then it seems i get focused on a certain part of my body and feel symptoms related to that part. Like having a heart attack or stomach issues, etc. Most recent are thede burning sensations in my head. Two days in a row now first time was the left side and down the side of my skull and by my ear was burning, today was the opposite side above my eye. Its got me super freaked out. Anyone have any experience with something similar? Id appreciate anything

Burning sensations in head, freaking out over it
Hi Tannervp .. I also recently started to get these burning sensations on my head going down to my forehead but usually just on one side for about 2 weeks. When it migrates to the other side or my whole forehead it doesn’t last long. I also get a cold sensation sometimes and a persistent tension on one side of my forehead. Before this my chest was the victim. Having chest pains, palpitations, irregular breathing. I was sure something was wrong with my heart or lungs. I got both checked out. Mostly my heart but once I was assured by doctors from testing that nothing was wrong, these symptoms started to fade. Now my head is under attack. I have never really dealt with anxiety until I got the discomfort in my chest and since then it feels like something new is wrong with me every two weeks. Once one symptom dies out I have another which causes me to think something is very wrong but told by doctors that from examining me, things are/look normal. I have no way to tell if it’s really anxiety I’m dealing with because to me it has come out of nowhere. I feel it is health anxiety if anything. Anyway to go back to the head sensations, a neurologist told me these sensations can come from neck muscle tension which is also a symptom of anxiety. We tend to tense up and these send sensations up from the neck and shoulders. I try to focus on that theory but it’s really hard because once I feel the symptoms more intensely, my mind goes on to wonder what if there’s really something else wrong?! Ugh
I agree. I have had the burning in my head chest and back but it was there for about a month non stop with strong zaps through my head, now I have had severe head pressure and feeling faint day and night evening waking me up at night for several months now with my hearing going in and out and pulsatile tinnitus so I am having a rough time with this...and the waves of sensations in my head like fluid and tingling and then my heart rate jumps up and I feel like I can’t swallow or breathe good and I try to breathe through it...my fear focal awareness seizures
