Is anxiety at its worst when not having exercised a lot?

Now that its winter I've had a hard time exercising and now I haven't done much exercise at all. Now recently I've noticed changes in my mood. Not only am I slightly more depressed but my anxiety gets a lot more tense and worse even at things I would normally not get anxious over. Is it because of my lack of exercise and would it help to get more exercise? I'm planning to get more exercise throughout the week. Thanks!

Go do more exercise and you will find out.

It's great for the mind so it's probably affecting you cause you aren't doing so much.
