Battling with depression and anxiety sucks. I sometimes wish just to never wake up. But I always remember that I need to be wake up and be strong for MY HUSBAND. Sometimes we always focus on all the things that makes us depress or anxious that we forget to remember what/who keeps us going.
Now.. I want you to share with me, What/Who keeps you going especially when times that you thought you can’t make it? Not only to get to know you more but also hopefully remind you why you make it this far.
Hug and kisses everyone! You’re not alone. You’re worth it. Anyone can chat
Me if you need someone to talk to! 😘

Hi apricap! Actually, I keep myself going. It's been a long journey with anxiety and agoraphobia, but here I am going strong. I've always believed we all are here for a reason whatever it might be. That motivation alone keeps me going looking forward to a new day, new challenges and new accomplishments.
If we look around us, we can see that Life is Good. Our mental health issues are just a little black dot in the center of a white piece of paper. All around us is the reason we don't give up.
Check out my post on "The Black Dot" which will further explain my way of thinking. xx
What keeps me going? Knowing that there is a God who is bigger than all my anxieties and depression. That He knows everything that is going on, not just in my life, but in the whole world.
I have suffered with anxiety, depression and PTSD for many decades. But when I have an episode, I starting reading the Psalms and meditate on the truths there. I have learned that you can't be thinking about 2 opposite things as the same time. So if I start to feel anxious, I turn it around and start making a list of all the things I have to be thankful for.
God keeps me going! Without my faith I would be lost. He reminds me of who I am and not the lies that tend to sneak in and tell me I am worth nothing. He keeps me going. -Rachel
My puppy keeps me going. He radiates happiness and I always think if such simple actions can make him that happy, then I can keep going because his happiness makes my heart full- even if it does not fix me or my problems.
