Small Lumps in neck and upper chest

Hi,

So I’ve realized that my neck has developed a bunch of pea or bean sized lumps that are medium soft, will move like a millimeter or two in any direction, they’re mostly flat, the size refers to their area. When I press on them I mostly feel skin pain, but not like I’m pressing on a bruise. I must mention I am overweight, and gained maybe 5 pounds in the last month, and I’ve never had cancer before.

My fear is that I end up thinking this is gained weight collected in small deposits before spreading out, but it’s actually cancer or something bad.
