Sertraline

I been on sertraline now for 7 weeks im feel no better and keep getting tension headache! Had eye test all okay there . So just wondering if these tablets are not agreeing with me . Can this happen ?

Sorry that Sertraline is not working for you. After two months it would be worth going back to your prescribing doctor. I switched to Citalopram for six months which worked for me, except that I put on weight, so I have now switched back to Sertraline. There are websites which explain how to taper off one anti-depressant before starting another. Things will get better!

Hi it took about 3 months for me to work my anxiety got worst before it got better. How much are you taking ?

50 mg just dont seem do anthing dont want to up it causei had bad side affects at first.

I would give it another month but try to relax you have to do things besides meds to help you.

Yes it can. It's a side effect. I make sure I drink lots of water and food. Exercise helps.
