Can anyone tell me if the side affects from Zoloft get better? It makes me feel so bad I can hardly function. The dizziness and sickness is awful and I have to work. I just want to feel better so bad. A few days ago I was sure I was having a heart attack, but it passed. Going to the doctor again tomorrow and see what happens.

Zoloft for anxiety
I take Zoloft. I never experienced what you have. It did take awhile for it to start working I thought the anxiety would never stop. Now I feel good. I took it years ago then 3 years I was switched to Lexapro worst mistake ever. Didn't do a thing for me. Hang in there. Feel better.
The only side effect which I experienced was a slightly swollen tongue for a few days. It is very important to keep taking it until your doctor gives you permission to very gradually reduce. I made myself very depressed/anxious again by going from 50mg to 200mg for three days and then back down to 50mg, and it took five weeks to recover. If the side effects don't wear off after a month, the doctor could try you on something else. Cytalopram worked for me, until I started putting on weight, so I switched back to Sertraline (Zoloft). Hoping you get sorted soon!
