I came off my citalopram correctly with the doctors monitoring and went on to a new tablet. I never had any problems but being angry at everything could be your brain trying to make sense if everything but what you need to ask yourself is were you angry when you were on them? It might be an idea to talk to you doctor as they will help you best. They have your medical history to refer to and equipped to refer you to another service to help so you may not need to go back on them. The other thing to think is are you just typically going through a bit of a tough time in life at the mo and need to rest more and let your mind reboot properly without meds....

My gp wants me to try citralopam, anything apart from my 26yrs on diazepam -tapering off---its a natural reaction I think to how you feel in general ,,,and meds aren't the only answer.talking is just as important.

Gosh I’m no GP but to go from 30mg to nothing sounds like a massive jump !

I’m on 10mg have been for years , I tried to come off them and felt like you , along with irritability, headache, palpitations and started to feel quite low again. I’ve decided for me to stay on them but that’s a personal thing . Hope you start to feel better soon.
