Mz-rachel, rest assured you can't and won't stop breathing as it is controlled by the involuntary nervous system, in other words it happens automatically, we don't have to consciously breathe for breathing to take place. We couldn't stop breathing even if we wanted to. So relax, you're not in any danger.

I feel this all the time, right now currently as well! It's terribly frightening and I've dealt with this for a while and nothing has happened.. so that must be a sign that it's anxiety. You will get through this.. we all will.
