Hypnotherapist's in London

I was wondering if anyone on here has seen a hypnotherapist in London as my mother is experiencing a lot of anxiety and panic attacks regarding her health. This started from her having a lot of hair loss due to a thyroid problem and is scared to touch/wash her hair. One time she had severe shaking, anxiety and a panic attack when she went to work and she is now scared of going to work in case of it happening again. She also has very bad migraines and is scared of fainting. My mum is generally just very frightened about her state and her health. Hospital have done checks but she continues to have major anxiety about her health/hair.

Can anyone recommend a good hypnotherapist in London that can help her become more at ease and more calm within herself?

If you can, can you please message me prices/and who you went to see.

Thank you

HI Spir12345,

Has your mum reached out to this forum herself yet?

Hello, her English isn't good so she has asked me to ask the forum if that's okay

Sure it is okay! I am in the US so I am not able to suggest anyone.

Just thinking " out loud" Do you think she will need a therapist who speaks her native language? Have you asked your family doctor or a clinic for a referral?

I tried hypnotherapy for anxiety it don't work the only thing that works is medication your mother needs beta blockers these help to block out the anxiety. I also used to get migraines and headaches the headaches would last for 7 to 10 days then I would get a migraine then have one day clear before it started again. I put it down at the time to caffeine and once I weaned my self of it "took about 3 months" the headaches and migraines stopped. Best get your old mum down to the docs and ask about beta blockers

My anxiety was pretty much cleared by the hypnotherapist I worked with and he was medical centre based but is in Cheshire.

I emailed him - great guy! He said important to get qualified hypnotherapist, suggested searching for The Hypnotherapy Association in Chorley, and ask them to recommend.

Peace!
