Woke up this morning feeling spacey and unreal. It feels like i dont know who i am and when talking to people im close to, they feel like strangers almost. Feels like im a stranger to myself. I feel so apathetic and stuff. Like i know i care about my friends and family but i dont feel the closeness i usually do, this normal?

Hi, I have had those feelings happen around my family and friends. I suffer from severe depression. For me it comes and goes but it helps me to talk to them about it. I don't know if that could help you. I know we all need support somehow, and help to get better. We can learn things about ourselves and this place is great place to ask questions.

Maybe talk to a doctor and keep a log of these situations that you notice.

I go through the same things. I have anxiety, depersonalization, and depression and I have the same feeling of being a guest in your own body. Have you tried writing in a journal? I find writing super helpful in working through my emotions and thoughts. I know how you feel. That spacey feeling is alarming and scary, but with time it will start to get better. I really hope you start feeling better soon. Good luck!

Is it normal to feel nauseous everyday with anxiety? It mainly happens before bed and it’s horrible.
