Well tomorrow I am headed to the doctor. I hate doctors,hospitals,medication, just anything in that category. One the other hand, maybe this time they will give me something that helps me get my life back to the way it was. Well here's to hoping and praying. how did it go? what did you get prescribed? has it helped any?

Hi Kimmy6779,I am doing so much better. They prescribed me Celexa and Hydroxyzine. It took about two months for it to kick in well. I still have anxiety but anyone with anxiety and panic disorder will always have it,it's not something that just goes away as well as it runs in my family. I have moments of depersonalization and serialization but I've learned to breathe through it,it helps that I have my husband there to help me remember that it is temporary. I occasionally have moments where I do have a horrible attack like I did the night before,I eventually calmed enough to fall a sleep or either I passed out because I don't remember anything except waking up the next day. Yes, anxiety can cause you to pass out if you get some worked up because as my psychiatrist says, "it is when the brain goes into flight or fight mode and it feels it has to protect itself.
