Good morning friends! Being housebound for decades I'm praying I can get up the nerve to go for quick walk in the morning! Dr prescribed a med called propynolol for calming my nerves. Its actually a heart medication but helps with anxiety. Plus he said to try true calm which calmed me down in 10 minutes! Anyhoo, praying for the best! Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and a great weekend😀😎😊

Hey there!

I have taken Propanolol and it helps with the physical symptoms like shakiness and heart palpitations.

Hope you have a nice walk!!!!!!

Hi.

Hi Olivia! I couldn't take it and came back home. I look so scary. My hair is frizzy split ends and its so fine while outside it blew into a stringy disaster. Felt humiliated! So depressed right now. I'm so happy to hear you made it out! Probably feels good. Anxiety is thru the roof right now!!!

Hey don’t beat yourself up...it takes time..

Make yourself a cuppa and chill now, even going through the motions of getting ready and going out the door is an achievement...because it’s not easy.

Take it easy ...

I was emotional n the way back.. so glad I had sun glasses on was in tears....I’m home and needing to chill too...

I know what it’s like to be house bound. I was literally unable to get within 20 steps of my front and back door for 9 years before I managed to get past that hurdle.

Anyways best of luck with your walk, hope it’s a sunny day for you.

Isn't it just a horrible feeling to be housebound. I've been like this even as a teenager and I'm still feeling this way up to now at 45. Been housebound for decades! I just want to die. Glad you got past it!! Must be nice. I only went out for 10 minutes and looked so ugly like a monster and had to hurry back home. Hope you have a great Friday!#

Being agoraphobic I know what you mean, I started by sitting in the Communal garden late at night early hours of the morning! I then managed to do it in the day time! have even managed to get to the shop on my mobility scooter ! but when I get back indoors I fall asleep for two or three days !so now I am basically housebound again(unless I have a Diazepam and someone who knows I have panic attacks is with me) I have often wanted to die but then I speak to one of my children on Skype or my Grandchildren and that makes me want to live forever ! it also gives me the push to try harder! and the cycle goes on like "Groundhog day!!!"

Thanks for the cool message! Great advice. I do the same I go out when its dark or very early morning. I'm glad you have kids and grandkids to live for that's definitely a great reason! I tried to get that med too but I wasn't able to get,it. But I get addicted to benzodiazepines. Not a good thing very bad withdrawals! I feel like its groundhog day too. I love that cause,it makes a lot of sense! Thank you so much for your message!!! Enjoy the kids this weekend!!
