Dizzy after car rides
Hey , I don't think the car rides in general are causing you dizziness . Anxiety can make you feel dizzy and lightheaded , I know for me it does . I'm dizzy and feel "off" all the time . The car ride could be giving you motion sickness , or you could have vertigo and might need some medicine to control it . I don't even like to drive much anymore because I'm always dizzy and in fear . Try letting someone else drive and see if you feel the same , if you feel better when someone else drives it's probably just you worrying . I hope you feel better , I know where your coming from . Here if you need to talk
I don't drive, I'm talking about riding in a car for long periods.
It's actually more stimulating to the brain when being a passenger. You don't have any control over the car as well as your brain gets overwhelmed with every detail you see while being in the car. By the time you are back home, your mind is spent. Causing that dizzy feeling. Using some deep breathing while driving might help. Your eyes can only take in so much stimulation and then it affects your brain. It's just like when you are in a big grocery store and there are shelves and shelves of so many products that you really can't absorb everything. Sometimes this causes dizzy feeling which then if you get scared can cause an anxiety attack.
It's quite normal when anxious to feel this way. xx
