Dizzy spell or???

Hey guys has anyone ever felt this before? So I was doing laundry and I wasn’t bending down or anything I was literally just putting clothes in and all of a sudden it felt like the world was shaking under me and I thought the washer was going to fall so I grabbed it. Idk what caused that but after that I’ve been so dizzy, freezing and I have such a migraine now.

I had a migraine yesterday which sucked for Easter. Back of my head in one spot that was the worst. Not sure about what happened to you but are you ok now? Maybe take it slow going up and down. If you're on anxiety meds, sometimes they do have side effects that can cause dizziness. Along with anxieties themselves.

Nope I’m not on any anxiety meds at all just neuropathic meds. All I really do is lay around anymore.

You should tell your doctor this when you see them next. That is not good either. Not to sound negative. I hope that turns around for you!

Hi there,

Yes, that has actually happened to me before on several occasions. It wasn't exactly the same but similar enough I guess. It happened in public settings you can say, where I tend to get anxious. I'd walk into a bar or restaurant for instance, to meet a friend, and once I stepped inside, it almost felt like a minor earthquake, or that I was trembling. It happened it a hospital once too when I went to visit someone. I stepped into the waiting area, onto a different type of floor/surface, and I thought I was going to fall over. It's so bizarre. I think it's just that I'm on such high alert all the time and being conscious of every little thing going on a body, that any little disruption is exacerbated and I freak out.

It seems like it may have been a panic attack considering you had a migraine and felt cold. Did the symptoms last long? Are you better now? If so, what helped?

Omg yes an earthquake that’s exactly what it felt like. This has all started happening since I got my wisdom teeth out 2 weeks ago. Everything is healing great but I remember waking up from the anesthesia and saying omg my head hurts and they said it will go away but the headaches are awful. Well migraines not headaches.

If u get a chance read my back stories. To get u up to date I had an mri done back in January and they found 2 cysts in my pituitary gland. Now my neuro wants to do another mri but this time on my cervica spine. All my anxiety is from this.

What took the migraine away was I fell asleep. That’s the only thing I can do that alleviates some of the pain.

could be allergies, stress, low blood pressure. I remember back in the day when I had wisdom teeth out having headaches for a long time... I was depressed after a breakup and not eating well.... Drink more fluid, you may be dehydrated, rest and try to take your mind off anything troubling......xo

Hi girl, now I know now why you feeling that way. It’s obvious that you have a problem on pituitary gland, sorry about that. But the thing is that is where it’s coming from but no worries cause you’ll be ok. Dizziness or light headed you name it, once you have something going on , on that area you’ll experience that but, no worries cause there are too many ways to remove that feeling. Have you heard the healing of using techniques of pressure point ? Try searching that. I’d love to tell you more but my kid is bothering me right now. Well keep in touch again ok. Always remember all problems have solutions so don’t worry 👌 Make yourself busy too.God Bless

Thank u so much. I see the endocrinologist the end of may so I’ll have more answers. I don’t even know how long those cysts been there.

Good news then!,, everything will be fine. Now you know where it’s coming from right? I’ll pray for your quick healing. Good day😉

I have that sometimes. It is called hyper vigilance and is basically you pumping adrenaline through your body through worrying "what if". I should know because I do it all the time!

I think there are periods in your life when anxiety symptoms are always close to the surface. I have learned to live with it but at the price of avoidance, mainly partial agoraphobia.

The biggest help I have ever found was a book from a long passed Australian doctor, Claire Weekes - Peace From Nervous Suffering.

I think you can still get it on Amazon.

She wrote a few books, so if you can't get that one, any will help a lot. They all preach the same message.

I have the one by Claire weekes and it didn’t help at all because I actually do have health issues not just made up so my anxiety is from the issues. You’re right about the “what if’s” because i constantly think what if I die and leave my kids alone, what if they find something serious how much time do I have, and what if I just don’t wake up in the morning and no one knows I’m dead. It’s just scary. Even though my health issues aren’t that major because doctors just don’t seem to really care.

I have had this also. I can be standing and talking to someone and I feel like someone ( out of the blue ) came up behind me and pushed me, OR I will be looking at books in a bookstore and it feels like the floor will come up to meet me. Not that I am going to fall, but that the earth quaked and I have to grab something.

This one, really gets my attention and i hate it. Creepy huh?

Yes very creepy. Or if I’m texting someone my phone keyboard looks like it curves. Idk why I have this.

OK, I used to work retail and sometimes I would go to ring something on the register and it would get wavy OR I would reach for it and my hand was short from where the register was.

I SWEAR, I did not feel anxious, I didn't think, but it was sure a brain psych when it all happened.

It's always nothing...........

creepy

It’s very creepy. The only thing I can think of when this happened was I was stressed out before hand. Pretty much that whole day.

Hi girl, call me Dee. Been off and on to this website but was diagnosed having panics attack and anxiety. That symptoms is kind a part of anxiety. Dizziness out of knowhere but, that’s not it. Maybe your blood pressure went down or up neither one. Try to check yourself daily and track how low and high your BP. And make an appointment to your DR. To have your CBC test. 😉 good luck
