This is crazy...
Hey was it like Hawaiian punch or like the minute made fruit punch because ironically i had a wierd moment a few weeks ago after drinking some fruit punch too. I had a late snack right before going to bed along with some fruit punch and i proceeded to lay down and like 30 minutes later after trying to go to sleep i had a pounding heart and felt wierd in the head. At first i couldn't think of why it happened but that next day or so i just concluded that it could've been the fruit punch. Ever since that i haven't drink fruit punch. Which is so crazy. I never had an issue drinking fruit punch before. Maybe its something in fruit punch. I dont know. Maybe it wasnt the fruit punch at all. But its ironic you post and said you had fruit punch and had the fast heart beats.
I highly doubt it was the fruit punch itself. It definitely could happen from a sugar rush after drinking it. Also, it's never a good idea to eat and drink something and then immediately lay down. It can cause indigestion which can definitely make you feel weird all over.
The pulses you feel are nothing more than your own heartbeat. When you have anxiety issues, you're more sensitive to being able to feel all the little things our bodies do. And you can't really feel your thyroid. It doesn't have a pulse. It kind of just sits there releasing and regulating hormones on the body. The pulse you feel in your throat comes from your arteries there and is a completely normal feeling when your heart is pounding. Try sitting up for an hour or so after you eat.
I've noticed you panic a lot after eating and you often mention either it's while laying down or that you feel as though something is caught in your throat. You should tell your doctor this because both of those symptoms could be something like silent heartburn, which is really just stomach acid irritating your throat and esophagus. Again, try not to eat and directly lay down. Eat and go for a walk after or stay up for a bit and play video games. Sleep in a recliner or with your head propped up on several pillows If you have to go straight to bed. Sorry if this response is all over the place. I'm half asleep, but wanted to respond.
