Does anyone else wake up dreading the day? Like waking up in a complete state of dread? I do this every morning and didn't know if I was the only one.
Waking up dreading the day: Does anyone else... - Anxiety Support
Waking up dreading the day
This is very common Carrie, some say that certain hormones like cortisol peak about 8a.m. and to take Green Tea for it whilst others say it's the prospect of another day with all its problems that we must now confront and of course our anxiety multiplies the prospect of those problems ten-fold as that is the nature of anxiety disorder.
Once you get up and get going it tends to wear off so No you're not the only one, far from it.
I've felt a lot of dread after waking up. Felt that way for several months. I'd wake up but keep lying down and closing my eyes and end up falling asleep. Slept so much everyday. Reluctant to get up because I tend to have weird symptoms like headaches which were supposedly caused by anxiety.
Thankfully, I'm feeling better and sleeping less and slowly trying to get a decent sleep pattern. Hopefully, that would improve my health and anxiety.
