I checked my blood pressure this morning and it was a little high and my heart was racing. I'm scared of the anxiety and now this.

Trees, don't start to get focused on your b/p and h/r. Leave that to your doctor. In your anxious state it will always be a little high. x

There is no definitive blood pressure measurement because it changes from moment to moment. What is needed is a history of blood pressure readings and taking median measurements as a direction for diagnosis and treatment. Keep a diary with your readings written down and show it to your GP or Consultant. Anxiety begets high blood pressure readings and also begets fear and concern. Sorry not to have been of any help.
