Has anyone went down thr CBD oil route for their anxiety? I have seen alot of positive changes in family members and friends etc using this for different illnesses, one being anxiety too and wondered if anyone else has used it?

Olwen, anxiety is caused by us generating too much fear hormone which makes our nervous system over sensitised. This sensitisation then produces all the symptoms of high anxiety we know so well.

Meds work by interfering with this process but only so long as you take them. More lasting cures rely on talking therapy, like cognative behavioural therapy, or self help techniques, such as the Acceptance method devised by Claire Weekes.

I don't know what CBD oil is, are these vitamins, but I can't see how some oil can break the vicious circle of fear - symptoms - fear - symptoms - fear but if you find it works that's all that matters.

Hi, cbd oil is cannibinoids that comes from marijuana, it dorsnt contain the thc property and is also legal here in the uk, ive read alot about it and it does seem positive, no side effects either so it may be worth a try

I started using this due to extreme post operation anxiety. It has helps me a lot. It’s nice because it doesn’t sedate me like taking something like Xanax.

Hi! Yes! I really need to post on here as i have been taking it twice a day for about 3 weeks now and wow!! What a difference, i have been taking one drop morning and night. The first few days i had a bit of a headache with what i assume was the cbd oil but i am completely fine now. Literally cannot believe the difference, more awake during the day, better sleep at night, 97% less anxiety and even when i do get an anxiety attack it passes very quickly, my health anxiety has reduced massively. I was scared to take it at first as i am a massive hypocondriac and was scared but i'm really glad i did. I will add i had a shoulder injury that was giving me pain mainly at night for about 4 months and i haven'tfelt anything from that either. Im gonna up to 2 drops twice a day tomorroe. I have read so muchon it and the best thing to do is start of using little amounts and build it up

Hi Olwen!

I have used CBD oil in the past and I did find it calming. You can get it from most health food shops and there are some UK companies where you can buy it in vape form.

I have also found chamomile tea and online mindfulness videos helpful. : )

The health food shop cbd is very low mg so i opted for an online brand, ive soent alot of time researchingand found this to be the best option, i have heard good things about cammomile tea but for the first time in months i have been able to do normal things with just using the cbd oil. It really is amazing

I use tender loving canna hybrid oil. It's 305mg. I take 4 drops at night and try to remember to take a couple drops in the morning. I know people who take less and people who take more, 4 works perfectly for me
