Hi I am a 28 yr old who has suffered from social anxiety for the last 10 years now, and I’ve tried self help and CBT but have had no luck in beating this thing. I have anxiety attacks almost everyday after work like clockwork so I am subsided to my bedroom all the time. I am thinking about asking the doctor for medication just to help me get out the house and start building up my confidence again, as I’m extremely worried with Christmas coming up and a lot of social events which I feel are really important. Does anyone on here think this is a good idea? Or should I just keep on trying without?
