Surely side effects should be over!

So 4 weeks into taking sertraline, 2 weeks of 50mg 2of 100mg and im worring that either my tablets arent working or i am ill and dont need the tablets like i kept saying!

My BM are changing daily! Some days normal, next day or so struggle to go!

I get a tight/tense feeling in my lower abdomen not pain just odd feeling.

This is causing my anxiety to go into overdrive!

Surely the side effects should be over by now? Or has moving up to 100mg caused this?

I just want to feel ok 😞

I had to wait for 8 weeks for the side effects to subside. I was ready to stop the meds. Glad I didn’t. Hang on in there.

I hope so as my anxiety is high at the moment (guessing its the meds)

I was on this and liked it but I finally gave up on it because I wanted to learn how to control my mind MYSELF. I wanna be in charged of my emotions not my anxiety and meds but my Dr told me it can take up to 2-3 months for the meds to actually start working and circulating threw the body. Just take it easy "float" and it will get better.

I was the same with Fluoxetine recently and they are usual side effects of SSRI's. Sadly, I couldn't handle it any more so had to stop. 😢
