Does anyone else have dreams of the thing that they’re most anxious about often? I had another dream last night but I was overthinking right before I went to sleep. I’ve had two so far.

Hi it’s common to express your anxiety and it’s symtoms through your dreams, it’s the over active part of the brain continuing to act during sleep...It can sometimes feel so real J

Well I’ve always been one to believe that my dreams come true. Because sometimes they do, that’s what makes me so nervous.

Don’t be nervous about the vivid dreams, they are just dreams and when your brain and CNS stops being sensitised, dreams will return to normal J

Hi misfitt ~ there are two levels to dreams.

The 'conscious' part ~ that's the part that you remember.

There's the 'sub-conscious' part ~ that's the layer under the 'conscious' part ~ and that's what tells the 'real' story!

What's represented in the conscious part is what you're considering important, and it's sadly the part which you can, and apparently do, make come true. 😟

Brings a whole new meaning to 'making your dreams come true', when they're so negative, in that the dreams cause you to feel further distress. It makes them a 'self-fulfilling prophecy' ~ but you're so very sadly doing it to yourself. 😳😖😟😭

The sub-conscious part, is where the secret to your healing lies. It's the 'truth' part of you, which can lead to your way out of anxiety and distress. ❤️️

You need a good psychotherapist who can aid you to decipher what the 'sub-conscious' meaning of your dreams is: Dream-therapy is absolutely awesome.

It's NOT found in books which say they can interpret dreams, so please, save your money and don't buy these utterly rubbish books. 😡

While you search for a Therapist who can help you interpret your dreams properly, please get into the habit of writing your dreams down, and you'll start to see a pattern in what your dreams are telling you. 😊

And, your dreams are absolutely nothing to be scared of. 😊

Wishing you good fortune in finding a Psychotherapist who can help you on your way to freedom from anxiety. ❤️️ B xx
