I’m really sorry to hear that you are going through this! Please know that you are not alone and we are here for you! 💐
I haven’t ever had a stroke but I have had a few panic attacks in the past.
I had a car accident years ago and didn’t have a panic attack or anything but then a few months after when I was still physically recovering I was driving home from work and I witnessed a car accident, I saw it coming and there was nothing I could do to stop it from happening and then weeks later it just kept replaying in my mind and I kept getting panic attacks over and over again. That was the biggest set of panic attacks I have ever had. I had a really close friend I was able to talk to about it, it’s never easy opening up to someone like that though, even a close friend or family member. I felt better about talking about it and they gave me the love and support I needed at that moment. Time did the rest.
Jennifer, for your own reassurance do go and have your eyes examined at a walk-in eye clinic or failing that any A&E/ER. Anxiety has been known to make people temporatily lose their sight but do get it checked by an eye professional using a proper slit lamp opthalmoscope, the kind you put your chin on to be examined.
