Anti Anxiety Meds

Do any of you have any experience with Buspar ?

Was prescribed 5mg twice a day.

I read the literature that came with it [ side effects etc ] and seemed worse than the anxiety that comes and goes... All the "What ifs " came flooding into my head .

Had a reaction to Zantac 150mg last week [ after 3 doses] and don't care to repeat another scenario like that [ headache/ rash / itching

Maybe fretting about nothing , Maybe just apprehensive since last week

Chamomile Tea w/ Honey and Valerian Tea seem to be ok to take the edge off to a manageable level

Anyhow looking for some thoughts

I have just started on Buspar. I have 5mg and was told to start out with half a tablet for a week. Then the full tablet after that.

I've taken it for 4 days now and haven't felt any difference, but maybe once I move up it will work more.

Buspar is a good one if it will work for ya. My doctor said it's safer than benzo and SSRI
