DayQuil on empty stomach ?

So I Took a DayQuil pill for my cold drank the water and then felt a heavy feeling and pain settle in my stomach I didn’t eat food when I took it just some water I’m still having some pain.. does this happen?

What can I do ?

Hi Danielle, over the years with all the medication I have taken whether for migraines, a cold or anxiety, I have always taken food and plenty of water with each dose. It protects your stomach from upset as well as makes the drug work better. I hope by now your stomach if feeling a little better and you are sleeping. Sleep well my friend. xx
