Hi. I was taking citalopram for two years. 20 mg. Once I went 30. Its not likely to have side effects two hours after taking it but never say never. Yes. Sometimes you have a heat sensation or a dizzy thing going on. I think you should discuss this with your doctor. Kind regards

Citralopram worked well for me. Just took a while to settle in.

Couple of sleepless nights but nothing too serious.

Did ease my anxiety very well.

Hope it works for you.

Btw. I was on 20mg a day for 8 months.

All the best to you.

I will check my blood pressure, it was kinda odd not quit cartoon like but just like everything was clearer maybe it's because I'm not so spastic and I'm concentrating more

Hey. Given your name, use of 'kinda just weird' and seeing and spelling of 'colors' I would say you were in the US!

I'm in the UK, stable at present and taking no medication. I would like to help you and others understand that anxiety / depression will pass.

Citalopram helped me on more than one occasion. The first couple of weeks are always terrible (heightened anxiety along with other side effects) but please persevere... for me the drug has a good track record.

Take it easy.

Lol yes I'm in the US. So far I'm pretty happy with it I was put on paxil six months ago and it made me horribly sick so I'm pretty pleased with being able to get through without fainting or throwing up

That's a positive.

Keep busy.

Take care.

I must say that citalopram canceled almost completely my huge panic Attacks. Give it time. Doctor said it takes three months to see the ppsitive effect.
