Dizziness..?

Okay so for a few days or so my head feels like it's just spinning non stop for up to 5 minutes then it'll stop. But after it stops my whole body just becomes so heavy feeling and I physically can't get out of bed and I feel physically weak. I'm not too sure what's causing this but I do suffer with depression and anxiety. Could this be triggering the spinning? I have been quite down recently...

I too get dizzy a lot and feel off balanced even my vision gets fuzzy and at times when I get up my body feels so heavy like its going to drop and also my head will feel like its gonna roll off my shoulders was told this was all part of anxiety after I had numerous blood work and tests done. Feel better soon

Sorry you are also. First got diagnosed at 21 was on paxil for a few years got off and was feeling strong. Now at 39 few things have happened this year that I thought I could deal with but it all crept up on me panic attacks started then constant anxiety 24/7 insomnia etc. Now on celexa two weeks and praying it works. Are you on anything?

Yep citalipram .. I'm 44 and suffered a long time too .. Lots going of in my life too , lots of changes which I though I was dealing with( but obviously not) I think it's a funny time of life and I worry constantly about how short it is and why I didn't do more in my younger years !! Hope you soon find some respite from it !

That's the same med I'm on the generic version of celexa. How many mg are you on and how long have you been on it if you domt mind me asking. I've been on mine almost 3 weeks and sometimes I find its working other times I feel so down and out not sure if its a side effect. So sorry your going through this. Its horrible but I believe there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Honestly on and off it for nearly 14 years..only on 10mg now tho .. I do get the odd side effects but it does depend on the brand as different manufacturers use different ingredients..took me ages to find that out but I was highly sensitive to one particular brand ! I'm not too bad now I'm on 10mg tho!

I'm sure we'll get there ..I've had some very stable months over the years and other times like this ..also I'm bad when we're going into the winter months.. Like I say lots going off .. I'd definitely carry on with mess for at least another 3weeks or so .. It does take awhile..all the best x

Thank you. Yes I'm going to stick in out on them a few more weeks. Just a rollercoaster of emotions. Irritable anxious then good then down. Oye and doesnt help that I'm impatient and expect it to work now when I know that doesn't happen.

Yep that all sounds pretty standard..as you say a real roller coaster..hopefully after about six weeks you should start to see a difference.. Sometimes something just as simple as you didn't think about anxiety for an hour , eventually you get days ..it does get better..
