so I just found out I am 5 weeks pregnant. Super early still, but since finding out I have had exteme anxiety. To the point it physically takes over my body and mind. My heart races, arms go numb, I cant calm myself down. I've gone to the doc to confirm nothing else is wrong and they want me to see a counselor for it. But my question is can the intense hormones I'm experiencing right now cause this anxiety? Will this last the entire pregnancy?

Hey. I have hormone problems and also suffer with anxiety so I think they may well be the cause. Thinking of you x
It could very well be the I'm crease and change in hormones has caused you to experience anxiety. And it's hard to say if it'll last your whole pregnancy. Just try to enjoy it as much as possible and try deep breathing, do anything that is relaxing for you (as long as it's safe to do during pregnancy)
And congratulations! We're here to help you feel calmer so don't hesitate to post
Hope you're doing well
