Hi my name is jalees i stop smoking cigarettes a month ago and I start having anxiety and panic attacks and they are so scary and my doctor has me on Celexa and I walk in mad every day I stopped drinking soda and drink nothing but water don't even drink juice no more and I'm starting to feel a little better I have my days I have my good days and my bad days God bless everyone go through this

Soda and juice contain so much sugar that you are having a double detox whammy.

Celexa (Citalopram) is good for treating depression and anxiety. I have hear that it might be less likely to cause side effects than some antidepressants.

It's interesting that you haven't mentioned your doctor prescribing some psychotherapy (talking) therapy to learn how to beat the anxiety / panic attacks. Perhaps the doctor is doing this?

I didn't have a side effect to the Celexa it actually worked it for me
