Your blood tests are good after 20 years of heavy drinking, you are among the lucky ones then, you have been given a second chance, don't blow it. The liver is very good at repairing itself specially when you spare it the task of having to cope with large amounts of alcohol but it won't go on repairing itself for ever. If you can cut down drastically that's good or even give up for a while even better. Talk to your doctor about the pancreas and stool problems, he/she will give you the reassurance you need. You know what to do,Captianinsano, show yourself you have what it takes to do it.

Captain insane, if blood work comes back good, the light yellow stool could be your diet. ? Could be something you eat all the time. Have you had colonoscopy? What does your doc say ?
