Always a good idea to contact your doctor when you are wondering about the effects of a medication

Hi I had to stop taking Mirtazipine 45mg and even previous lower doses had same effect on me like my body was being Zapped with electric shocks it was the most pissing off my brain experience than I can remember ever having n had to be put on to Dosulepin because I vowed never to take Mirtazipine again ever - for anxiety and depression.

No it happened even when I sat watching Tv - feet up and relaxing n all of a sudden feckin Zap Zap zap like I was having electricity Zapped through every Vein in my whole body - I had to actually straighten my legs out tight n same with my arms like people with wots called Restless legs syndrome- but it was in my arms too n I swear I was actually losing the plot with the feelings cos it drove me nuts not getting a chance to ever feel relaxed - so doc changed my meds to Dosulepin .

I'm glad it works for you - what could be happening for you is that Because you body is relaxing through the meds working for you - a sudden Bang 💥 will sorta upset the system for a minute because your heart will beat faster with the noise giving you a fright - if that makes sense to you ?

yeah kinda.

See the Mirtazipine is designed to relax your body and give a feeling of calmness - so when you are relaxed - a noise will make you jump and for that wee split second Your heart will get an adrenaline rush ( caused by a fright you get when a loud noise goes off somewhere ) so the electric feeling is only because your nerves go from relaxed to shaking even if it's only lasting a few seconds .

Yeah being honest it's best having strength to just say Fuck It n not to let the bastard Anxiety Grind You Down .

Stay above it . ✌🏻

oh know, it destroyed me, me still thinking its actually a serious health issue with my heart of course though. if i had solid evidence that it was anxiety then yeah i would be fine, but i kinda just have to take the doctors word for it without having any real serious tests apart from the basics. which isnt enough. theres nothing i can do now anyway, just hope i get better i guess.

I hope so too - I hope one day you'll wake up and feel on top of the world - I hope that your life will take you to a better place called happy and that you can feel healthy and ready to start loving yourself and realising that you are worth more than you feel you are - and make a choice to climb above anything that gets in your way- You are the Only One who can make this happen - so I do wish you all the best and all the happiness in the world.
