How bad is people's anxiety the day after drinking. Mine is so bad right now can't see how I'm not going to die. Heart feels weird and mad. What happens to everyone else? I don't deserve any sympathy coz it's all my fault but I just drink to forget sometimes

Well booze is a toxin so the body has to deal with it. I must admit I dont drinkmore than a glass at a time....im yeast intolerant so i have a bad reaction if i drink too muchxx
Thanks a lot. I know I need to. Everytime I feel like this I say to myself never again but then I do it as it helps me relax. My friend was leaving to go Australia for two years last night so I thought that was worth the risk. Now I know it definitely wasn't. My friends and I have always been incredibly heavy binge drinkers on a weekend. Them boys are like brothers to me but I find it incredibly difficult to be around them when I'm sober and they are getting drunk, they'd do things that when I'm drunk I'd find funny but when you are sober it's not so fun. I don't know what to do sometimes.
The harsh reality is that you need to stop drinking alcohol... AT LEAST until your anxiety becomes manageable. I recently stopped drinking after a bad binge 6 weeks ago. My anxiety and panic attacks got worse before they got better. Now, no panic attacks in a few weeks, light anxiety, but some physical symptoms lingering that I'm working on.

Sandy1710, Use today to re-hydrate. Alcohol does quite a number on dehydration which causes the heart to beat weird. Water will help restore your heart beat to a more normal beat and get rid of that weird feeling. Also try eating even small meals today to balance you. Feel better
Yes mine can be. I understand your post.
Well, you basically OD on a drug last night. Lucky you're here today and that your liver and brain cells can still handle it. You didn't mention if you use other drugs to "handle" things sometimes, so I'm assuming you're not on any RX or street drugs too. Guess you're dealing with a bad hangover, and really hope you feel better soon. If you do this frequently to deal with anxiety, consideration of AA may be appropriate to learn how to deal with anxiety without drugs.
Hope you're feeling better by the time this reaches you.
Whoa. I'm hungover right now and feeling that exact same way. I feel ya. Im anxious and having heart palpitations. Plus I feel really hot, tired and shaky. Hangovers don't always do this to me. But when it happens, it really sucks. Not a fun day with a crazy hangover and really bad anxiety.
