The short and simple answer to your question is 'no'. Chronological age has very little to do with a lateral age, the one simple age we think we are. At eighteen we find those in their twenties and mid-twenties as old, very old and then comes the thirties and forties.............all of those ages are somehow internalised which sometimes leads to mental health problems. Age is a process even Darwen could not find a simplistic too, it being, he wrote, a force of nature which defies any equation or approach so that, along with the big bang, it is simply there as with the big bang when the whole matter of the Universe consisted of pure energy condensed into a singularity which when exploded gave us the Universe in its totality. And it is still doing that as Einstein suggested. Apologies for a mini-rant!
